Dr. Jihad Mustapha, interventional cardiologist with Metro Health and a member of the Kent County Medical Society, was recently featured in The Grand Rapids Press/MLive article titled “Metro Health vascular docs to begin treating at Allegan General”.  Dr. Mustapha has led the development of a Metro Health program specializing in treating peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Drs. Renee Elderkin and Jeffrey Dood, obstetrics/gynecology specialists with West Michigan OB/GYN and both members of the Kent County Medical Society, were recently featured as guests on WOOD TV8’s eightWest program for a segment titled “Knowing your body: What’s normal and not” discussing the many physical changes throughout women’s lives.

Dr. Jack Dekkinga, a dermatologist with The Skin Revitalizing Center and a member of the Kent County Medical Society, was recently featured on WOOD TV 8’s eightWest program talking about non-invasive, FDA-approved treatments for excessive underarm sweating that can be preformed right in the physician’s office.

Dr. Valerie Shavell, fertility specialist with The Fertility Center and a Member of the Kent County Medical Society, was interviewed on Wood TV8’s EightWest program on a segment titled “Answers to tough fertility questions”providing answers to viewer questions and talking about other services provided by their practice.
